We hope that everyone is continuing to stay safe and healthy during this extraordinary time. This information is being updated on April 8th. Here also is a link to Mr. Renfrow's weekly video with information about pickup and drop off being on the same day and more: Cedaredge Elementary School Update - April 8

  • Starting this week, picking up and dropping off packets will now be on the same day - Fridays! We will have staff available to collect packets and pass out packets for the following week at Cedaredge Elementary School from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and at the Cory Store from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If you’re visiting CES to drop off this week’s packet and collect next week’s packet, please note that K-2 packets are available on our front entrance loop, while 3-5 packets will be available in our bus loop. To return documents electronically, please see my video and information documents attached to this email - https://youtu.be/3rN6es_y1lY .
  • Once again, here are the hours that we will have someone in the office to answer the phone: Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • If you need to reach someone outside those hours, please email Mr. Renfrow (daniel.renfrow@deltaschools.com) or call him on his Google Voice number – 970.812.3018.

The Tuesday Express explains when and where families can collect the learning packets being created for all K-5 students by our phenomenal teachers as well as other information about teachers’ office hours. Also, we’re attaching the information about internet access because in the coming weeks, as we move forward using a blended (both packet and online) learning approach for 2nd through 5th graders, we are wanting to sure equal access and opportunity for all our students. To be able to provide this type of learning, we want to first start by ensuring that ALL our students have equitable access and opportunity to participate and learn. So, if we can help you secure internet or work with you to explore other options, please let us. If you have questions or any ways that we can help, please let us know.

We are here and eager to help anyway we can! As a reminder, here are our Office Hours.

A new parent letter released today (4/3/20). Please visit our district COVID-19 information page

On Wednesday, April 1st, the Governor extended school building closures through April 30th, a move that makes it even less likely that in-person classes will resume this school year. For more information on this, please read the most recent parent letter at the link above.
